I kept answering the same questions: What is Eugene really like? Where should we eat? What neighborhoods should we explore? What do people actually do here? Which local businesses can I trust?
Why Eugene? is my answer in one place. It is part relocation guide, part local magazine and part running list of the things I would send a friend who was thinking about moving here.
Whenever possible, this site prioritizes locally owned restaurants, shops and service providers. That does not mean every local business will be featured or that inclusion is a certification. It means the editorial mission is to keep more attention circulating through the Eugene/Springfield community.
